Spock says, "The cadet's logic is sound." 'Cause in that moment, you're like, "Okay, Spock cares more about the ship than he does about..." They all have that moment. Uhura in supporting Kirk, -Pike in allowing... -Now look, they all tilt that way, but the ship goes the other direction. So, go figure. Bryan, is there a little Easter egg coming up that people should be looking for here on the DVD? There are Easter eggs. One of my favourite things, -actually, in these shots... -It just passed. That was it? Are we pointing it out? No, there's just something that you might want to look for. There's also bodies floating throughout this shot, which is really disturbing and... -Love the sound design here. -Amazing. This was a lot of what Ben worked on, as well. This is one of my favourite sounds. Right here, if you're watching this in surround, you actually hear the sound as it passes the camera, -as if it's hitting the cameraman. -Yeah, that was it. That was it. And by the way, listening to a DVD commentary is great in surround. That's really... You'll hear J.J. -slightly back and to the left. -Right behind you. -Just behind you. -Yeah. Exactly. Now pitching, Manny Mota, Mota. Here's another thing, just very briefly, that I wanted to ask you, J.J., -'cause I don't think I ever did. -Jewish. I think it was genius that the Romulans speak English and that there's no subtitles. 'Cause if you think about it, you're like, "Why would they be speaking English?" But I'm so glad that they do. By the way, this shot has more lens flares than anything. And I wanted to point out, also, that that was a shot that I never... I can't figure out why I did this. I had Sulu look over his right shoulder, as opposed to his left shoulder. I can't figure out why I did that. Because he should have looked towards camera. I just think we all, you know, we discussed it. I think that the answer was, "Let's not have the characters... Let's not try and confuse it by having -"too many other languages." -But it makes this moment. -I love Bana's delivery here. -He's so funny. -Yeah, unbelievable. -"Hello, Christopher." -Yeah. "Hi, Christopher." -That was genius. That deadpan thing was brilliant. -"Hi, Christopher. I'm Nero." -What does NCC stand for? -We've already been here. -Somebody look it up, for God's sakes. -Sorry. -Okay, wait a minute. That guy, a lot of people think that's Kal Penn because John Cho's in the movie. -Yeah, it's not. -It's not. I actually think it stands for "no can comment." But the... Yeah, this was... It was very funny, when we were shooting this, I remember, "Oh, my God, we're actually shooting a Star Trek movie." 'Cause we had this greenscreen and we had the actors talking to it. It just felt like, this must have been what it felt like when they used to do Star Trek. And here we are doing Star Trek. This is a staple of all time travel storytelling, which is when one character recognises another one, and then that character says, "I don't know you." And then the character says, -"You don't know me yet." -"Not yet." Because we're in a time travel story. Not a classic time travel story, though. -Yes. This is a non-classic. -I also like how the viewscreen is also, you know, a window. -Thank you. -So you can kind of see through it. You know, one of the things that I love about Chris' performance, and I love so many things, is that, you know, he can actually kind of put on his captain's hat, and that's what he's doing there when he's basically saying, -"Now is not the time for diplomacy." -That's right. You're like, "Wow, this guy's actually very bright." That was the hardest thing to come up with, remember, in casting this part. You know, some people were good at playing rebel. Some people were good at delivering captain's dialogue. -Nobody was good at doing both. -Yeah, Chris could sort of do ------------------------------ Читайте также: - текст Токийский хор на английском - текст ...И правосудие для всех на английском - текст Новичок на английском - текст Младенец на прогулке на английском - текст Мутанты Икс - Сезон 1 на английском |
