get pinched
The bold survive Let's go
- Let's surrender
- Never
Dave, I'm telling you
that it's not the case
- We don't have the money
- Dave, you know what it takes
We're going to go heavy on TV
We'll lighten up on radio and print
Come on back to my office
We know you've got the money
We just have to spend it bonehead!
Bueller.
Lesjeux sont faits.
Translation: The game is up
Your ass is mine
Runner at first base, nobody out.
The first hit since the fifth inning,
only the fourth hit in the game.
0 and 2 the count. There's a drive.
Left field.
Twisting into foul territory.
I'm really surprised
they didn't go for it in that inning.
- What's the score?
- Nothing-nothing
- Who's winning?
- The Bears
- I think I broke my thumb
- Hey, batter, batter Swing, batter
Do you realise that if we played by
the rules, right now we'd be in gym?
Come on, boys, let's go
We'll never get out of here Move!
I hate him
Who is it?
It's Ed Rooney, Ferris
I'd like to have a word with you
I'm sorry, I can't come to the door
right now. In my weakened condition -
- I could take a spill down the stairs
and suffer further school absences.
- Save it, Ferris Come down here
- You can reach my parents at work.
Thank you for stopping by.
I appreciate your concern.
- Come down here and talk to me
- Have a nice day.
You're in big trouble
Ferris
Ferris
- Who is it?
- You know damn well who it is
I'm sorry, I can't come to the door
right now. In my weakened condition -
- I could take a spill down the stairs
and suffer further school absences.
You can reach my parents at work.
Thank you for stopping by.
I appreciate your concern.
Have a nice day.
Mud
Son of a bitch!
My shoe
DOG GROWLS
Hi, doggy
Stay, boy
Stay
Stay!
Sit!
Sit! Heel! Stay!Or any style, really But the more
he looks at it, there's nothing there
He fears that, the more you look at him,
the less you see There's nothing there
That's him
This is the German Day parade There's
many German references in the film
The town I grew up in
The original citizens were Germans
There's a lot of German street names,
a lot of Germans in Chicago
There I go with my 80's haircut
Bueller was a German name
I used a number of those references
It just happened that this was an actual
parade, which we put our float into, -
- unbeknownst to anybody,
all the people on the reviewing stand
Nobody knew what it was,
including the governor
This is a nice scene,
where he pulls up next to his father
Cameron's whining and complaining
He's always looking for a parent
He's always in search of a parent
Ferris is his father figure and friend
He's running down all the things
that he's done for him here
Again, this is his great, rubbery face
His monkey face A primate face
I had to do this all in one
As soon as I got off him, Matthew had
to jump down, and she had to sit up
In wardrobe, I gave him
a rabbit's foot, which I thought
would be a nice little touch
Down in the footwell, they came up
with the idea of using the rabbit's foot
It's kind of an icky moment, isn't it?
He gave her a very good goosing here
This is all really natural
Of course he's made it into the paper
I saw this hole in the door and thought
his eyeball there would be pretty funny
I've got something about shoes,
I don't know what it is
I've done a lot of shoe jokes
Teachers always had odd shoes
I thought his shoe being chewed up by
the dog would be the final humiliation
Like I said, this was a real parade
We shot it over two days
The first Saturday was the real parade
The second one, we did pick-up shots
Ladies and gentlemen,
you're such a wonderful crowd.
We'd like to play a little tune for you,
it's one of my personal favourites.
